The Sadness of Puppy Farms

Lately I have been seeing a lot of awareness being raised on the web around the subject of puppy mills. A puppy mill is basically a location where certain breeds of dogs are bred and raised in mass quantities for the purpose of sales. The people that run these mills do not share a love of dogs that many people do and this leads to living conditions that are simply disgusting.

The best thing we can all do to help put a stop to puppy mills and the abuse of the puppies that are unlucky enough to be born in one is to adopt your puppy from an animal shelter. If you are interested in more information about puppy mills check out http://www.stoppuppymills.org/

West End Animal Shelter

A few days ago I met with Dale Namminga who is on the board of directors for the West End Animal Shelter that is located in Ontario, CA and was given a tour of the facility. I have to say it is one of the nicest animal shelters I have visited with plenty of room for the animals who call it home. The other amazing feature is that the shelter is one of the few in southern California that is a no kill shelter.

The shelter was built in the 1950's and is looking to raise $1.3 million to perform upgrades and repairs which will improve the living conditions for all the animals who reside there.

All For One is very excited to be working with the shelter and will be donating $2 from the sale of every shirt sold where code WESTEND is used at checkout. The code will also give 10% off for the entire purchase. Check out the Shelter page for all of the contact info for West End and spread the word so we can make an impact in the lives of all the animals who call West End home.

Photo Shoot

Continuing with my previous post about the music video being filmed for hip hop artist Harlem's Cash I wanted to post a couple more photos taken for promotional purposes. These photos were taken by Omari Souza of www.Jazzymaephotography.com and feature model Chimadika Okoye.

I am very excited to see the final version of the video and I will try to have the video posted here for everyone to see. Until the video is released you can check out http://harlemscash.blogspot.com/ to read Harlem's Cash blog and see what he's up to.
